DAVE PHILLIPS – impossibile sintetizzare tutto. Figura storica della sperimentazione sonora, attiva dal 1987. Partecipa a quasi 300 uscite e più di 700 concerti in più di 50 paesi. Dalle leggende grindcore Fear Of God al gruppo performativo Schimpfluch-gruppe, dalle composizioni taglienti di musica concreta a un sacco di altra roba senza compromessi. Esplora il suono come mezzo di protesta esistenziale e politica.

“Sound as communication in direct and primal form, a language, a tool of metaphysics, a conscience and a consciousness, vibration. dp re/searches and ponders existences and behaviourisms humanimalistically. Works that oppose the omnipresent restriction and reduction of life and living, that activate primordial shared emotions otherwise hidden under the debris of civilisation, inviting rumination, encouraging intervention, endorsing catharsis, liberating, cleansing. Therapeutical stimulation is acknowledged. Sonic activism, ritual protest music, humanimalism. Methods are audio de/construction, composition, sonic rituals, psycho-acoustics and performance. EUYPNOS – musicista ambient proveniente dal nord Italia, sintetizza lunghe suite elettroniche partendo da field recordings, poi manipolati tramite tavole sonore e pedali in chiave concreta, trasponendone l’effetto di trance. Da poco uscito lo split con Dave Phillips “extraordinary popular delusions and the madness of crowds”.

SYSTEMET – duo drone italo-belga, che tramite un sound system ottafonico e sintetizzatori autocostruiti genera vorticose gabbie sonore in cui spaesare il pubblico trasportandolo nelle fredde vette montane, dove spesso organizzano intensi happening elettroacustici.
